Inspiratiebronnen zijn Flauberts roman Bouvard & Pécuchet, het onverwoestbare nummer Ne me quitte pas en het zwarte schilderij van Malevich (onder het motto ‘Dat kan mijn kleine zusje ook’).
Bambie Nul gaat ongeveer zo: Twee mannetjes zijn op zoek naar de Betekenis der Dingen. Zij trekken zich terug in hun absurdistisch universum en doen doelgericht onderzoek naar het leven. Naar moeder natuur, het wonder der techniek, de liefde en Het Hogere, maar staan zichzelf daarbij in de weg. Hun denkramen zijn te klein en misschien maken ze alles wat onderzocht wordt wel per ongeluk kapot.
Deze voorstelling is onderdeel van IETM Focus Meeting, een netwerkactiviteit voor zo'n 200 internationale professionals die hiervoor speciaal naar Den Bosch komen.

In BAMBIE ZERO two absurdist men are looking for the meaning of things. When the men are on a retreat they research life, mother nature, the wondrous aspects of technique, love and the divine. But they keep working against themselves, their thinking range is not broad enough and it might be very possible that they accidentally sabotage everything they research.
BAMBIE ZERO is a philosophical and physical slapstick on the beauty and tragedy of failure. The sources of inspiration are the novels Bouvard & Pécuchet by the French writers Gustave Flaubert (1821-1880) and Céline (1894-1961) Entretien avec le professeur Y. And the black square by the Russian painter Malevich (1879-1935) (in the spirit of ’My little sister could do the same’)
